Swamp Rosemallow, Hibiscus moscheutos (hardy hibiscus, crimson-eyed mallow)

Native perennial with tropical looking flowers! Rose mallow sports giant pink to white flowers in mid-summer on plants 4-6' tall. A favorite of hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators. In the wild, plants are found in swampy areas, but, once established, plants are tolerant of averagely moist soil. Perfect for sunny spots and rain gardens! Hardy in zones 5-9.
