Bleeding Heart (Dicentra eximia) is a striking native wildflower found in the Eastern US, where it grows in forests and on rocky ledges. The blue fern-like leaves contrast with pink and white flowers resembling dangling hearts. Plants reach 12-18" tall and are hardy in USDA hardiness zones 3-9.
