Florida Flame Azalea, Rhododendron austrinum

Florida flame azalea (Rhododendron austrinum, also known as Southern flame azalea) is a very showy and fragrant azalea that makes an excellent ornamental plant! The flower color is generally yellow to orange. Our plants are seed grown and there can be some variation in flower color. We pride ourselves on growing high quality native plants with a healthy root system. Plants are grown in a trade 1 gallon container.

This azalea would do great in a pollinator garden where it will attract bees, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. It also does well in a naturalized or woodland area and/or partial shade site.

Florida flame azalea is a large deciduous shrub that typically matures to 8 to 10 feet tall and 8 to 10 feet wide.
