Give shady spaces a woodland makeover with Hobblebush, a distinctive native shrub prized for its bold foliage and graceful, sprawling habit. Flat clusters of white flowers appear in spring, followed by bold distinctive foliage. Plants are host for the spring azure butterfly. In fall, berries turn from pink to deep blue as they ripen before leaves turn rich shades of red and purple.
Hobblebush shines along woodland paths, beneath mature trees, on slopes, or in naturalized plantings. Birds and other wildlife use its fruit and dense branching for food, shelter, and habitat. Plants are seed-grown.
