Muhlenbergia capillaris, commonly known as Pink Muhly Grass, is a striking ornamental grass that reaches a height of 3 to 4 feet, and prefers full sun. It grows in a mound with blue- green foliage. Around September, it produces show-stopping clouds of soft, pinkish-seed heads that create a dramatic, billowing effect in the garden. It is known for its drought tolerance and requires little attention once established.
