Plumleaf Azalea, Rhododendron prunifolium

Beautiful and unique plant that is one of the latest bloom times (mid-to-late summer) of any deciduous azaleas! Flower color is generally a vivid red. Our plants are seed grown and there can be some variation in flower color. We pride ourselves on growing high quality native plants with a healthy root system. Plants are grown in a trade 1 gallon container.

This azalea would do great in a pollinator garden where it will attract bees, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. It also does well in a naturalized or woodland area and/or partial shade site that is protected from afternoon sun.
